Winter fashion

I feel that winter is the perfect time to show off your great sense of style, and dress up all cute and cozy. This year I’ve decided that I’m going to use my Polaroid camera, I basically forgot that I owned one. It’s probably one of the best ways to capture memories, since I have started a travel journal, and have been sticking them in.

I used to be one of those people that used to think, that you can’t be fashionable in winter. OH! I was WRONG…nowadays with all the fabrics and patterns in stores, there are so many combinations of outfits. But I did learn 2 key things:

#1- It’s all about the layering.

#2- Get your color scheme together.img_70411.jpg

Ive been looking around for inspiration, and found out that this winter is all about the ‘army green’ color. Haven’t you been seeing bomber jacket’s literally in every store?! But I didn’t want to be like everyone else and buy a bomber jacket. I was looking everywhere for the perfect army green jacket or coat…and then I found it. This coat from “ZARA’S winter collection” is everything. It has multiple large pockets, a hoodie with the softest wool in it, and can be adjusted for curves! I love how the front is simple, but then when you turn around, BAAMM! It’s like I’m part 2 of the Berlin wall! It’s fun and spicy, it’s definitely something not everyone would wear, but if this coat is you, trust me you’ll end up wearing it 24/7 (like me hahah).

Back to rule number #2, as you can see, I paired this army green jacket with army green jeggings from ‘Tally Weijl’. Now, I did this, because the colors didn’t bite. The shades of green were not far apart. But lets say your wearing a bright red coat with a dark red T-Shirt underneath…now that’s where people get it wrong.

Underneath my coat I wore a black sweater that says- ‘I don’t want to go back to work’ from, again ‘Tally Weijl’. I chose black because I wanted to tone the look down a little, but still have something going on when your indoors, and take your coat off. Since that day was kinda chilly I added a grey scarf and paired that with some simple white high top converse!
